RYA Yachtmaster
RYA Sea Survival
This course is a must for anyone putting to sea and is becoming a requirement for crews participating in long distance races. The course covers theory of sea survival and includes a session working with liferafts
in the pool.
RYA First Aid Course
This is a required part of the Sea Survival Certificate. Anyone who gained their certificate in 2003 have only a short time before the certificate will run out if not revalidated.
The course fee is £30 and it runs over 2 evenings. The maximum
number on each course is 12 persons. Further courses can be
arranged on demand.
RYA Radar Course
A difficult piece of electronics to master. If you have radar you need this course. A minimum of 12 people is required and the course dates will be aranged to suit once that number have expressed an interest.
Course fee is £65 and the course is run over two evenings.
RYA VHF/GMDSS Course
This course is essential for anyone fitting the new radio set in their boat.
If you already hold a VHF License you need to update it via this course.
The course requires a minimum of 12 persons and the dates will be arranged to suit.
The fee of £65 includes the licence fee.
RYA Day Skipper
This is the entry level course covering navigation, chartwork, collision regulations, weather and electronic navigation.
This course is ideal for anyone with little or no prior knowledge of navigation or anyone new to sailing or motor boating.
RYA DieselMaintenance
This is a one-day course covering engine servicing, troubleshooting, repairs and what makes your engine work.
The course rquires a minimum of 6 persons and the date will be arrange once that number is reached.
